Description
My name is Itoni Lambert and I have been a home carer for 8 years. I started out caring for clients that had learning disabilities and challenging behaviours disorders but have since expanded my skills working as a live in carer.
I genuinely enjoy caring for people and helping them to lead as independent a life as possible. I am friendly and helpful, and take great satisfaction in seeing my clients smile and feel happy. I can't drive. I am unable to care for pets as I have allergies.
I am currently available for work from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 3pm.

Without Prejudice This to confirm that Mrs Itoni Lambert acted as live-in carer for my late mother during the period from December 2020 to August 2021. My mother lived in her own home and had become unable to look after herself due to the sudden onset of dementia following a stroke. We duly arranged for Bluebird Care to provide live-in care and Itoni was initially part of a rota of different carers. However, it soon became apparent that a good bond had developed between my mother and Itoni and we were most favourably impressed by the kindness, commitment and diligence which Itoni displayed. With Itoni's approval, we therefore arranged with Bluebird Care for Itoni to become my mother's regular carer (subject of course to Itoni's periods of leave or unavailability due to other commitments). This arrangement continued until August 2021, when my mother's condition worsened to the point where she was admitted to hospital and then a private nursing home for end-of-life care. During the whole of this time, Itoni was working for Bluebird Care. As stated above, we found Itoni to be most kind, patient, friendly and trustworthy in her dealings with my mother. We remain grateful to Itoni for the manner in which she made my mother's final months as comfortable and bearable as possible in what were undeniably difficult circumstances. Not least, this included the preparation of excellent meals, including splendid breakfasts which my mother greatly enjoyed.
